Family of injured Portage County teen asks for prayers

Mindy’s sister, Tiffany Neal, told me this morning that Mindy now has double pneumonia and that today was a particularly rough day.

On Monday, I reported on Mindy’s story. She remains at Akron Childrens Hospital on a ventilator. She suffered three broken bones in her back. Mindy was hit by a pickup truck on Halloween evening as she walking to a party with a friend.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the driver was drunk. The case is still under investigation.
